Okay so I am in the middle of reading 'The Hunt begins' and I have some questions: Why have a lot of the women gone through some form of sexual assault? Also a lot seemed to be virgins before meeting their mates (those by choice I mean), is there a reason? I feel like its a bit unrealistic, but It's not something that'll stop me from reading. Lastly, Are you religious? It's been a big theme in the last few books.

Quinn Loftis Hello! Thank you so much for taking time to read my books. I truly appreciate it. I hope that you have enjoyed them. I hope I can answer your questions adequately. I try very hard to deal with subject matter in my books that other people can relate to. Even though they are fiction books about werewolves, I still want readers to be able to connect with the characters in a tangible way. I know that sexual assault is much more prevalent than we probably know because survivors tend to not tell anyone that it has happened. I want those people to know they aren’t alone. I want them to know it doesn’t change their worth or value. And I’ve had friends share their experiences with me that have been assaulted and they’ve share many of those emotions with me.
Why are a lot of my characters virgins when they get married? This is a personal matter for me and I realize it’s not exactly a popular opinion and I don’t judge anyone who chooses a different path in their life. I believe sex is very sacred. It is something that can help us flourish in a relationship or whither. It can nourish our emotions and self esteem or it can rip us a part and make us feel worthless. And it’s a two part answer. I am a Christ follower. I wouldn’t say religious but I would say devotes to the teachings of God’s Word. My intention is not to cram my beliefs down anyones throats, it is how ever a hope that they can see a different way of life than what the world offers. To know there is a Creator who loves them. To know He wants the best for their lives and that is why there are boundaries in place. I simply want to give people the opportunity to see that choice. If they choose something different then that is totally up to them and I do not judge them for that. I hope this answers your questions and I am again thankful for you reading my books.
