Magnus Chase is my favorite Riordanverse series and I love it more than anything. I was wondering whether we'd get a continuation of the series; given that the ending was slightly ambiguous. Also, what are your thoughts on Blitzstone (Blitz x Hearth)? A lot of us ship them and I was wondering if you consider it canon or up to interpretation. (they are easily my favorite non-canon ship. Rick Riordan Same answer as always regarding 'canon.' That means 'what is in the text,' not what I might say about it later. Did I intend Blitzen and Hearthstone to be a romantic couple? No. If I did, I would've just come out and said that in the books. But can I see why you'd interpret them that way? Sure. Totally valid. I don't have any plans for returning to Magnus Chase, simply because I have no time to do so with all the other projects in the works, but who knows? Maybe some day!
