I do not get this very often, but when I do it is a hard thing to get through. In order for me to write a scene I have to be able to see it in my mind first. Whenever I get writer's block, I turn of my computer and listen to music instead. I have found that I create plots and scenes best when listening to movie scores. The Pandora Film Scores station has helped me through all kinds of writer's block.
