Laurell K. Hamilton:
What does Anita think about her ability to sever ties between Master and Human Servant, Master and Animal to Call, and between Master of the City and Vampire? Can and will she use this ability in future situations?
Laurell K. Hamilton
She finds it useful, beyond that I'm not sure she's thinking that hard about the ability. She collects vampire abilities that are used against her, the more times she's a victim, or would-be victim of a power the more likely she is to retain it. That's been true for awhile now. Yes, she'll be using it in the future.

Will the new series of Merry (which I have read at least a dozen times and live for) translate to our current political, economic and racial climate?. I've always pictured Darkness as African although I know he is meant to be a shadowy jet dark. There is something about the light and darkness that has become the norm. Anyways fingers crossed.. I can't wait for more.. I love your work! Nightseer, Anita read them all:)

I watched your Book talk Nation interview the other day. My question is have you thought of the title and author of the brilliant book you started with for research on the fae? What about the book on the folklore? One and the same? I can't wait to read the next Merry book! I tend not to resurface when I am reading one, so I'll have to do it on a weekend or my kids will miss me. =)

Your Anita Blake was the first urban fantasy I read & I really enjoyed it - at first. Why did you change the direction of the series? The stories went from tense action packed mysteries to erotica, many without any action. "Blood Noir" took place almost completely in a hotel room - just talk & sex - with the last chapter being a synopsis of the action rather than what would have been the focus earlier on.
