Loved the Troop. I was in the Boy Scouts but worst think I got was laryngitis… there’s an idea for a new novel :) The Troop was based out of P.E.I, I’m from Newfoundland, lived in Toronto now live in Nova Scotia so when I picked up the Troop and read it was based in P.E.I… that sold me to get it. Will you be writing more books based on other areas of Canada? A loyal reader

Do you approach characters by trying to understand what their flaw(s) is first, then subsequently create a plot that will drive them to work through it? Or do you find the dimensionality of your characters as you plot/write about cool shit that interests you?
