How do you deal with writer’s block?

Angela Marsons Writer's block is a very personal thing and can mean different things to different people. For me it means that something isn't working. Either I'm trying to send the storyline in the wrong direction or perhaps trying to make one of my characters do something that just isn't right. I tend to step away for a while, do some reading or research a topic that I'm interested in and just take a little time to refresh.
