Hey, Mr. Riordan, I want to say that the Disney+ adaptation of Percy Jackson was just *chief's kiss* brilliant. So since Percy Jackson is under Disney, do you think it'll have it's own place in the park? like how they have Marvel-inspired rides at Disney; would they have one for Percy Jackson? Maybe they could do the Tunnel of Love because that'd be cool, and one last question: do you think they'll sell merchandise?
Rick Riordan
Glad you enjoyed the show! No idea about rides at Disney. People have been asking about that for at least a decade, but that's a massive investment and I guess we'll have to wait and see what the parks do. They have had some cool pop-up experiences based on the show, however, which is a fun start!

Hi!!! I'm a big fan!! I'm an aspiring writing or filmmaker, and I've always struggled with plotting. Do you have like a certain big-picture method of plotting, like for a whole series, or do you just go along with it as you write? Is it super detailed or do you give yourself time to feel through the plot and stuff as you're writing? Also, do you have a say in the show's production design? Looks great so far! :)

Rick Riordan:
How do you feel about fan theories influencing plot points or making it into books (not so much fan fiction but the hypothesizing/guessing themes for the following books)? I feel like when I was growing up reading YA fantasy and Sci-Fi, the speculation didn't happen as much as it does now. Maybe I was just younger then haha... Love your books so much, and I can't wait to read more of Percy's adventures!

Hi Rick! I have more of a philosophical question for you. A major dispute in the fandom is whether Luke Castellan was a hero (not just in the prophecy sense) at the end of the The Last Olympian, and whether he deserved to be redeemed after everything he did over the course of the series. I'm curious about what your thoughts are on this and what your intention was as the author. Do you think Luke is/was redeemable?
