Hi Lisa, First I would like to say I love your books. I hope you don't mind me asking this question but. My son is writing his first book I would like to ask you what advice would you give to aspiring writer looking to break into the industry? He mostly does script writing but now is trying to write a book. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thank you and I'm excited to ready your next book coming out.

That scriptwriting experience will be very valuable. We know he can write and will develop good characters and scenes. I advise that he finish the whole book because that gives it a better chance. Make sure it is well edited and clean, then , ask a few trusted people to read it and comment. Meantime, look at his favorite books in that genre and make a short list of the agents and editors/publishers of the books. Then, write a good query letter to the the best looking agent. He probably knows how to do that. If that person says no, hopefully he/she will give some helpful commentary. Query the next best one, etc. Once he gets an agent, the agent will help him proceed from there. Best wishes to your son in this new challenge!

You have written such a phenomenal book that I can't put it down! I am sharing with everyone about how great this book is and recommending they read it. Such a sad history that happened, to those children and their families! So very glad you are bringing this to light. I can't wait to read more of your books. Do you think you will write something similar to this?

Hi. I am reading "Good Hope Road" and notice a discrepancy. When Drew arrives at the armory, he said he was dropped off. Jenilee asked him to take her to the hospital to see Nate and he said he had no means of transportation. Yet they left the armory, got in a truck and left for the hospital. ??? I have been reading/editing books for over 20 years. Need another reader???? Happy to help! Love your writing, Lisa.
