Hello Tami, I love all of your books. I have to admit that I haven't read them all but the ones that I have read have been amazing. Ok with that being said. How did this book come to life? Is it a bit of art imitating life?

Tami Hoag For me, life is always the catalyst for art. Life makes me ask the questions--who, what, why? And telling a story is my way of trying to find the answers to those questions. I've listened to many crime victims tell their incredible stories of having survived against all odds, and I'm always amazed by them. What kept them going? How did they sustain hope? What was it about that person that made them survive when others would not? These questions were the catalyst for COLD COLD HEART.
