I have read so many amazing, highly detailed, intricate character building novels that there are months out of every year I question ever finding a novel I can give an honest 4 or 5 star rating to. I've asked myself, "am I ruined for all books?" Then occasionally I come across such gems...like your Greatcoat novels... and I am satisfied.I thank you good sir, for providing what book lovers of my type need and fiend for

Thanks so much for the kind words, Lissa! The Greatcoats Quartet is still very close to my heart (as it was my debut series), so it’s wonderful to hear that people keep discovering those benighted travelling magistrates!

Just finished Traitors Blade, and without waiting I plunged into Knights Shadow and i have the next two on deck waiting. Love the series so far. So, many have compared this series to the Three Musketeers. While they carry swords, and there are three that is where I see the comparison end. My Question (finally) is, What was the influence or inspiration for the series?

Hi, I have a few questions regarding nephenia and kellen's relationship and nephenia particularly. First question, in charmcaster, why did nephenia go with the comfort boy(prostitute) even after she met kellen and did she sleep with him (comfort boy) ? Was it to send a message to kellen ? I'm still in book 4 but i can't wrap my head around it and it ruins my immersion so i paused and decided to ask. thanks
