Suzie
Suzie asked E. Lockhart:

Do you think you'd ever consider writing more about Ruby Oliver?

E. Lockhart Ruby has four books and a short story. http://www.emilylockhart.com/books/th...
I would love to write more of her, but there are no plans to do it at present. She is very fun to write. Especially the footnotes.

Cassandra Javier
Cassandra Javier asked E. Lockhart:

So...We Were Liars was a great read. I really like the fact that it leaves you feeling all these emotions and leaves you utterly breathless. I read the ruby Oliver novels years ago and I have to say that Liars is pretty different from it. What made you decide to shift perspectives and write a novel that's not "light"? And how was the writing process like?

B.A.
B.A. asked E. Lockhart:

How do you develop strong characters that can drive a story? Do you have any tips for overcoming obstacles in character development?

Izza
Izza asked E. Lockhart:

We Were Liars is a very amazing book, and I just want to know, how long did it take you to write it? I mean, it must have been challenging going from kinda light stuff to a suspense novel. Btw, hello from the Philippines! :)
