From Bubba and Jim Billy to Uncle Vito and Daisy, I cherish them all. However, I must say, Cotton is my all time favorite. I am curious, who was your inspiration for him? Thanks for inspiring us all!

You know, I don't know! Isn't that weird? Of course, there's Ansel Adams, whose work I admire, but it wasn't even him. Cotton was just one of those characters who walked into my head as he was, with his history, they way he looked, talked and just was.

I am almost through with re-reading The Golden Dynasty yet again (my favorite book of yours) and had a thought about Circe of the other world and her story. I know you have a lot you are focusing on now, but have you ever given thought to telling Circe's story? Of her adapting to a newer, modern world in New Orleans and of her healing from her past with King Baldur?
