I live in the area that the books written (just outside lye to be precise) and given the detail i imagine you do too. Did you ever consider setting your books in a more well known are? Clearly i'm very glad you didn't but it must have been tempting.

Hi Simon, for many years I wrote my books thinking about what would be popular, or even glamorous. It took me a long time to realise that, in fact, the Black Country is an incredibly interesting area and I am proud of where I come from. Silent Scream was the first book I wrote for myself and I am so pleased I did. No other area would suit the characted of Kim Stone as well as the Black Country. Thanks for the question X

Hi! I am so in love with your books, I've devoured all of them and I cannot wait for more of Kim Stone. All your books have consistently been par excellence. My question is, who is your inspiration for Bryant and the relationship Kim and he share? What Bryant and Kim have is something people find very rarely, not to mention their every conversation is dripping with sarcasm, which makes it all the more fun reading.

Hi Angela! I'm a HUGE fan of your Kim Stone series!!! HUGE! Am reading the above information correctly??? That you have signed a deal to write a total of 16 Kim Stone books for Bookouture? I was happy before because you said in a previous answer that you were contracted to write 8, which is awesome but would mean that you were close to finished. Now I read 16??? Please tell me this is true??? :) :)
