Why did you write Percy Jackson & The Olympians for middle grade? I think, the concept has so much potential for Young Adult or Adult writing- don't you think so?

Rick Riordan Same reason I taught middle school and not high school -- it's just what I do best, and where I connect with readers the most. (also, I am a big middle schooler at heart.)
