In 1990 I read Jurassic Park by the late Michael Crichton and it coincided with a time in my life when I was attempting to launch a comic strip of my own. I realized that genetically engineered characters rambling around in a top secret facility would make for a wonderfully unique strip. Little did I know at that time that it would not be until 2013 that my original idea would finally take off. Favorite quote: Best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. Second best time is now.
