How do you deal with writer’s block?

Jay Scully Depends on how you look at writer's block. I've accumulated so much material I"ll never get to the bottom of the stack. Are you serious about writing? Since my first novel was published, I have written four more manuscripts that will take years to polish. I think you have to remember that books don't write themselves. If I had a nickel for every time somebody said, "If I could have written a book on that twenty years ago I'd be rich and famous," I"d be a rich man. Pick up some great books to read, too. You must read a lot--believe me you will find the inspiration!
