How do you deal with writer’s block?

Kelly Romo I try to write every day whether I feel inspired or not. I have a quote from Pablo Picasso taped to my bathroom mirror that says: "Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working." When I follow that, it does seem to work. If I sit down at the computer and can't seem to get going, I'll open a novel from one of my favorite authors and just start typing in a different document. I call it my warm-up. Then, I close all that down and go back to my own work.
