I've been reading and reading your novels for sooo long. How do you do it? That is, write such fantastic wholesome literature.

Gail Carson Levine Thank you! Hard question to answer. Mostly I write books I think I would have liked to read before I became a moody teenager. I like to create stories that manage to be exciting and safe at the same time. But, of course, it depends on the reader. I may cross into troubling territory for some.
