HI Kristen! I really respect that you take the time to answer your many fans. I was curious to know if you had a new series in the works? I really love the worlds you create and I am looking forward to getting lost in another one of your series. The other question I had was I was curious to know if you set deadlines for yourself when you start a book? And how long on average does it take you to finish a rough draft

Currently, I'm working on finishing out running series as many of my readers want to see what happens next in those upcoming books. Fortunately, a number of those series only have one or two books left to write in them! :-) So I'll be doing those first as they come along with SEBRING finishing up the Unfinished Heroes series (to be released in January 2016) and now I'm working on Deke's story in the Colorado Mountain series (with Wood being the finale of that series). And I hope to get to Noc from the Fantasyland Series after Deke (which will finish up that series).
Shoo!
Once these series are done, I have an abundance of ideas for new ones (the Rock Chick spin-off with Mace and Stella, a military spin-off of Chaos with Landon and Jude (Faye's brother in BREATHE)). Another fantasy series...they just keep coming.
I've also written an erotica book which may or may not come out next year. I'm chewing on it. But if it does and if it's received well, that will start an erotica series.
As for deadlines, for my indies, no. I do have a sense of when I want them done or when I hope to get them done, but I try not to pressure myself too much so the creative muse doesn't get angry with me!
Now, if I could just write, I'd finish books within 2-3 weeks. Alas, I do need to eat, shower, go to the grocery store, update my website, answer email, etc. so that can't happen. So they usually are done within 3-4 weeks if I don't have any travel.
Hope I got to all your questions! xx

Kristen Ashley:
Silly question, but how did you come up with the names for the Hot Bunch? You reference awesome rock music throughout the books and based on the music I became intrigued as to how the names were selected. A few of my assumptions are: Lee - David Lee Roth (Van Halen) Eddie - Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) Hank - Hank Williams (Sr or Jr) Darius Tucker - Darius Rucker (Hootie & The Blow Fish) Thanks!
