Marc, I'm asking me always were do you find your main characters names Quinn and Thibideaux aren't usual day names above all Thibideaux but they are like melted to your serie ? Best regards from Luxembourg and keep on rolling Daniel

Thanks so much for the question, Daniel.
Here's a little known fact about Jericho.
In my original manuscript of NATIONAL SECURITY, the first book in the series, the character's name was Gideon Quinn. But there were several other literary heroes named Gideon already out there and I wanted something different. When choosing a name I often consider that characters parents' personalities since they are the ones naming him or her in the story. I'd already named Jericho's brother, Boaz (Bo), so I knew the children's names would likely be biblical in origin.
I made a long list of possible names alongside the last name Quinn--and didn't like any of them. When I came across Jericho, I knew immediately that was the right name--and never really looked back from there. I allude to the fact that Jericho's mother first wanted to name him Gideon in a short scene between Ronnie Garcia and Jericho while they're in a tent high in the Hindu Kush in ACT OF TERROR.
Thibodaux is a fairly common name in the Cajun areas of Louisiana, though it is often spelled in different ways. In fact there are endless jokes told about two Cajuns named Thibodaux and Boudreaux.

Marc Cameron:
Marc, I just finished reading Time of Attack and had to keep reminding myself it was written in '14! How eerily on point you were with the subject matter of this book. How did you know? Kidding! But really, Wow!! Between Jericho and Arliss, I having trouble reading anything else right now. Kudos!!
