Lisa Scottoline What cures me of writer's block is a mortgage! I work at writing just the way other people do their job. I write every day, and while some days are more successful than others, I try to put words down on paper. Sometimes you just get it down, and make it perfect later.

I'm currently reading I've Got And in All the Wrong Places and I just have to tell you... My mother passed away in 1986 when I was a mere 22 years old. Not a day goes by that I don't miss her, but to this day (or should I say night?), I get signs from her frequently in the form of streetlights. They randomly pop on or click off when I drive by them and I just KNOW it's her telling me hello. Crazy, huh?
