I'm so excited for Bounty to come out! I've been checking Amazon to see if there is going to be a mass market version and haven't seen anything yet. Is this one going to be published by the company that did the rest of the Colorado books or are you self-pubbing? Just trying to figure out the version to get! Thanks for such great stories!

I did a huge explanation about this on my Facebook page that, if you don't mind, to save some time, I'll just cut and paste it here. But it does answer your question relatively thoroughly so I hope that works!

Right, a note, chicklets, as the print edition of BOUNTY is now up for pre-order and there may be questions so let me 'splain.
This book is being independently published by moi (like the first four in the series were until I sold the rights to my publisher, Forever). So this book will be released by moi and that includes the print book.
Now, our print publisher does not support the format for mass market books. Mass market (or MM), are the smaller books, what the other Colorado Mountain, and my Chaos and Dream Man series are all published in. They support a variety of formats, but not MM.
So we had a choice to make. Either we fiddle around tying to find a publisher that supports MM, this would take time and delay the print release, or we could publish this book in print in a format that is not the same as the other books in that series. But it will be published on familiar vendors and on the release date.
With the knowledge that even if we did find an MM publisher, as all my independent books are print on demand, that means they are not published with a huge print run, which helps to keep the prices down, so they'd be more expensive anyway. And with busy schedules and the understanding those who want it in print probably don't want to wait a few weeks (months?) to get it after the ebook release, we made the tough decision to print it outside the print format for the rest of that series.
This means BOUNTY will be trade paperback size, like all my other independently published books (Rock Chicks, Unfinished Heroes, The 'Burg, Magdalene, Fantasyland, Play It Safe, Heaven and Hell). It'll also be quite a bit more expensive due to its size, its length and being print on demand.
So I hope you understand. It was a wild ride trying to figure out what to do, source ways to get you what you want afforably but on the release date, and we hope the decisions we made don't cause upset or disappointment.
To end, BOUNTY in print is up for pre-order. And here's the link! http://www.amazon.com/Bounty-Kristen-...

Hi Kristen. I went back to read the Rock Chicks series and I saw at the end of Mace and Stella's story that you had plans for a new series in LA with Hot Guys and Bad-asses working for Mace. I love the macho man, sweet, alpha man that you are creating. Do you think you will ever go back to your idea and start creating new bad asses?
