Could you explain the letter at the end of Salt to the Sea that was addressed to Florian? I love your books by the way :)

(view spoiler)[Hello!
Thanks for asking this question. In case anyone else is reading this, just want to say - SPOILER ALERT! :)
In Emilia's last chapter, she describes going home, being in her kitchen, seeing her Mother and baby brother. She feels save and loved. Emilia isn't really home, she's in heaven. The letter at the end of "Salt to the Sea" is from a woman who tells Florian that she found Emilia's body on a raft, washed up onto their property. The letter provides closure to those who might want to know what happened to Emilia.
Poor, sweet Emilia. I cried so hard writing her last chapter and the letter to Florian. :(

I really want another book to Between Shades of Gray. I really want to see how Lina found Andrius. Do you think you would make another book about it?
I know you made Salt to the Sea and SOME of the questions were answered but I really want to know more!

Bebe

Hi Ruta! I have read "Between Shades of Gray" and "Out of the Easy", both I give 5/5 stars without a doubt. I'm an aspiring author who doesn't really know where to begin. I have always loved writing, but am shy when it comes to trying to put myself out there and start writing for different contests. I was wondering, how did you start your career and what advice you have for me, and others like me?

Hola Ruta! I have read twice Between shades of gray (In Spanish: "Entre tonos de gris"). I was amazed by Lina´s and her mother's strength. Thank you for this strong, moving and unforgettable story. Thank you for opening our eyes to this other holocaust. In your research, did you travel to Trofimovsk, Lina´s final destination? For what is known, was a real diary or capusule ever found? Greetings from Monterrey, México.
