The most affordable way for a school to bring me in for a visit is if I'm already on tour for my publisher. When the paperback edition of "Salt to the Sea" is released I will most likely tour and my publisher always looks for schools to send me to. :)

Why do you think the tragedy of the Wilhelm Gustloff is so relatively unknown? Certainly, other ocean liners that sunk during wartime have received a great deal of recognition (ex: RMS Lusitania), so why is this story only known to a relatively small group of people interested in World War II?
