I just finished reading SWANS OF FIFTH AVENUE, and loved the book. In your author's note you explain that while all conversations are imagined, the timeline is faithful. Babe Paley passed away in 1978. At the luncheon following her funeral, C.Z. Guest refers to her husband, Winston as being deceased. Did you know he actually died in 1982?

Sorry. These things happen, unfortunately. I try not to, but I get caught up in the story I'm telling, and so some small details do slip by me. Since I'm not writing nonfiction, I don't have a fact checker at my disposal.
