Jessi Noelle
Jessi Noelle asked Meredith Russo:

You've been wonderfully open about the fact that this book was written for those who may be questioning things regarding their gender, and your hope that it helps them. What if this book was read by a person who was beginning to have feelings for someone who is transgender? What would you want them to know?

Meredith Russo I would want them to know that their feelings are normal, and that it doesn't change their sexual orientation in any way. I would want them to understand that loving a trans person as a cis person, while normal, is also a pretty big responsibility: you're getting close to someone who has probably been hurt in a lot of ways you can't understand. They're likely to seem irrational, or prickly, or distant, or oversensitive to things that seem like nothing to you, but if you really care about them it's important to help them work these things out, though obviously don't tolerate abuse.
