Did you always know that you would be bringing Rosalie back? I mean, thinking on her book with Snapper, I'm excited, but I'm nervous as to how that's going to go down with Shy and Tabby; will they accept her, or will things be awkward? I love your books and I cannot wait for Rush!!

I didn't always know for sure that Rosalie would be back, however I always had a soft spot for her. She wasn't ugly or a bitch. She just wasn't "the one" for Shy. That kind of thing happens, good people very often don't get what they want. So she broke my heart a little bit and because of that, I couldn't get her out of my head.
Thus, when Snapper started to come clearer and clearer to me, I felt him drawing to her. I liked it. Now SHE'S with the man that's not "the one" because he's not Snapper. And we'll see how that plays.
As for awkward between Shy and Tabby, I think Shy feels protective of her but he does over women in general. The water is under the bridge. They're all adults. I figure they can find their way around.
But we shall see!

I'm sure this has been asked, but I was wondering, when you add certain music in your books, do the songs influence certain scenes, or the other way around? For example, in Fire Inside, there's a heavy Bob Seger presence and Hop calls Lanie 'Lady'. Did the nickname come first, or the song "You'll Acomp'ny Me" ? (btw, every time I hear any Seger songs I want to reread Fire Inside!)
