Jason Howell asked Pupola:

Hi Pupola. I'm asking this question of several writers, some friends, some strangers... Do you consider your writing process a "spiritual" practice? If yes, what makes it so? If no, why not? What, in your mind, either qualifies or disqualifies writing as a spiritual practice? Please feel free to either share concrete personal views on this, or approach it as a concept apart from you. Or both. Thanks.

Pupola Hi Jason,

Sure, if that is in the mind while writing and what kind of writing being done at that moment. Whether it is for meditation, prayers, or simply thinking something spiritually while scribbling personal thoughts in a journal/blog/etc. Writing can take many forms also from being therapeutic, cathartic, or a simple brainstorming! When I am writing a story or a poem, I can’t say for sure. I just write. It’s fun. Thanks for posing such an intriguing question. :)
