Honestly, just keep writing. Write for fun, write for play, try new genres and new styles of writing. But keep writing. When you are ready, show your work to others and get their feedback. Then listen to what they will say, because they will make you better. Good luck!

Before asking my question, I want to say that I was reading THE RUNAWAY KING until a minute before midnight! A good way to spend the end of 2014 and I love the book so far! Anyway, how many books will there be in the Mark of the Thief series? Can't wait to read them--I love your books and Ancient Rome, so both together should be fantastic!

Hi Mrs.Nielsen, I'm a huge fan of the Ascendance series, and love all of your work.But my question is, I have a character in my book ,she kind of does what Wilta does in Captive Kingdom and pretends to be on the other side, but against her will and she forced to betray her friends who trusted her and she uses them.But she doesn't exactly have a choice.So would she be a protagonist or an antagonist?Thank you so much!
