Hello. Could you please tell me where exactly Mearsies Heili is situated, in relation to some bigger, better known countries (to me) like Colend or Sartor? Is it somewhere near Chwahirsland? Is it on the same continent at all? I've been staring at the maps until my head hurt, and nothing :)

Unfortunately it's so small that it doesn't really show up well on the world map as seen on a terminal. (The map I have is about a yard and a half wide and a yard tall). But it's near the northeast corner of the continent called Toar. The Chwahir established an outpost when they tried colonization seven centuries previous.
Colend lies north of Sartor toward the eastern end of the long Sartoran subcontinent, which wraps about two thirds of the way around the southern hemisphere of the world, and Chwahirsland is directly north of Colend. They are all in roughly the same time zone (Sartor an hour to the west), whereas Mearsies Heili is eleven hours to the west. Hope that gives you a better visual!

Hi, Sherwood, This is only about books insofar as it is about the MythSoc. It has fallen to me to create a 50th Founding Anniversary slideshow for Mythcon re our history. Pls message me on FB PM, as you have contact info. and memories. The small commentary you sent yrs ago has been lost via repeated movings of data from one computer to the next. Many thanks, Bonn (Callahan)?

I'm rereading the Inda series, and hoping to understand Signi. When I first read it as a late teen, I really didn't like her (probably a lot of misplaced "rooting" for Tdor). As an adult I think she is a very compelling character who, as Fnor put it, was too good for that pirate. I'm curious why she went to Iasca Leror and then stayed there even with her cold reception from Evred? It seems like even Inda ignores her!
