Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

L.C. Hibbett The idea for The Demon-Born Trilogy came from a conversation I had with my little girl, Lucy, about angels. She wanted to know what made them so special, and for every reason I gave her- they can fly, they watch over people- she countered with an argument of things she could do that were more important. It got me thinking about why we see certain attributes as being more significant than others and what would happen in a world where angels were real.
