How were you able to write such a complex couple as Maxx and Aubrey? The honestly came across as very real, very authentic.

A. Meredith Walters Wow, thanks so much Cezanne! The idea for Maxx and Aubrey came from some crazy brainstorming with my husband. The details of Maxx's addiction, however, came from some personal experience and first hand knowledge unfortunately. The dynamics between Maxx and Aubrey and the dysfunctional co-dependence was something I had seen over and over again, not only in my life, but in clients when I was a counselor.
