I bought the Audiobook "The suspect" and want to read parallel the book "Suspect" - in order to learn Englisch, cause I´m a German learner. The first chapter is identic, but than all is different. Are there two different issues? By the way: This book is excellent and the speaker Crispin Redman also.

He Bernd. When my first novel was published in the US, the American publishers cut about 3000 words and decided to call it SUSPECT instead of THE SUSPECT. Recently, this novel was re-released in the US, with all the material restored and the original title used. So now it is called THE SUSPECT in all English speaking editions.

How was Joe O'Loughlin brought to life? He's a marvelous, metaphorical character/hero. I love that he's so real. I love that he is a psychologist vs a psychiatrist. I love that this hero has a disability and continues to carry on even after he stumbles and falls both physically and emotionally. Knowing how Vincent came about would be interesting too. I feel I know these guys.

Hi Michael. Paul from Melbourne Australia here. I've just read all of your books in order non-stop, except the last one. I don't want it to end! They're all brilliant. It's like I've got an addiction and I'm running out of the good stuff. Question: do you write to a schedule? Is it one book per year like many others, or is it less structured than that?

Hi Mr. Robotham. I just finished Good Girl, Bad Girl quickly followed by When She Was Good. I thoroughly enjoyed reading both. Evie and Cyrus are both excellent characters with great depth, and I feel like we are just scratching the surface, mostly with Cyrus since we did get more on Evie in #2. I really look forward to you getting to explore them both some more, while keeping all the fun sidekicks around (Badger!?)
