What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Roberta Grimes For me, the very best thing about writing is hearing from readers. The best! I have heard from so many people who have read The Fun of Dying and been helped by it, and each one of them absolutely made my day. Now I am hearing from people who have read one or more of my novels and have questions or ideas to share. I feel as if I am making so many wonderful friends who care about the same things that are important to me!

Hi Roberta, I just finished reading The Fun of Living Together and am now reading The Fun of Growing Forever. I heard this article on NPR on how hate has been transforming in Rwanda with this soap opera series. I wondered if such a thing might work here in the US with our racial divide. There have been some very authentic soap opera series such as Silicon Valley that affect people's conciousness. How can I send?
