Hey Kristen! You've said that most of the houses in the Rock Chick books were places where you or your friends actually lived so with RC Reawakening about to come out I was wondering...do you actually know someone that lives in a castle inspired house in Colorado? Because that would Rock! Also will there be a Rock Chick fiesta when you're in Maryland in February at Nora's store? That would really Rock!!!

Yes, the castle was inspired by a castle-esque house in Englewood I went to for a meeting with some volunteers for the charity I used to work for in Denver. If memory serves, it even had a moat! It wasn't as OTT as Daisy's castle. But it was FABULOUS.
As for Maryland, I'm sorry to say but no, we're not having a fiesta. If weather permits and we get there in one piece, I might announce that I'll be somewhere (at a bar or something) to chat and commune, but this is going to be a quick trip, there and back.
We're in the midst of a number of projects that will be winding up soon (I hope) and I've decided to dedicate this year as much as I can to writing (I wasn't able to do much of it last year due to travel and I miss it!). So we're cutting back on the partying (for a bit) and focusing on the work (for a bit). We hope we can get back to the fun stuff in 2018!

I know you have done a series where the heroes (unfinished heroes) are flawed due to the lifestyle and jobs they do. However, have you ever thought of doing a series where the hero/heroine is physically flawed in some way? Whether he/she has nasty cut on her face etc and the hero/heroine loves them despite this???
