Hello Miss Smith! I fell in love with Crown Duel and I wondered if there is a possibility for a new edition that would be available in hardcover? The only available editions I am finding are either e-books or paperbacks. Such a wonderful book would surely deserve an equaly great edition (maybe with a new cover as well?)! Thank you for all the joy your book brought me and all best for all your future endeavors!

Thank you for asking! I hope to do hardcover some day, when I can afford to pay a cover artist. Right now, the trade paperback (the one with the out-takes included, and all the corrections, not the smaller paperback with all the errors still in it) is the best I can manage.

Silly question: where is/are Let the Torrents Sing You Down and Antiphony? Are they published even? Or did I misunderstand these were published? Having finished off A Chain of Braided Silver (and all the others) I was def. keen to read those post Norsunder stories. Chiefly because of Imry's direction oh, and Fox's too, LOL ....

Crown Duel is one of my favorite books of all time, one that I come back to almost every year. Im sure you've been asked before, but I am curious about your process writing it- How long did it take you? Was the first draft very different than the final?
