Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Tracy Ewens Oh, wow. That's a tough one. Roarke and Eve from JD Robb/Nora Roberts always top my list. Lizzy and Darcy or Anne and Captain Wentworth from Persuasion for that matter.

Then there's Ford and Tara from Jill Shalvis's The Sweetest Thing. Heathcliff and Catherine if I'm feeling particularly dysfunctional. :)

I suppose the answer is that I don't have a favorite, I could not possibly choose because there are so many wonderful fictional couples. Rosie and Don. . . See, I can't stop.

All of them have come to life in my mind and remain in my heart. Isn't that the sheer joy of reading?
