Hi Ruth :) I was just wondering what your experience has been like with your students and school since your book has come out. I teach and would love to one day write, and I do wonder what the dynamic would be like with them if I were to ever be published. Not a question?... but just finished your memoir and wanted to tell you how much it meant to me. I grew up in a religious commune, too, and your story touched me in a really deep way. I hope you write more, Ruth, and that you found as much healing in writing your story as I did in reading it.
