What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I read this book maybe in 2004. Here's all i remeber b/c I was like 7 when I I read it: there was a 'beautiful ' blond boy named Conrad and I think they all went to a ski resort. Sorry I know I'm not providing enough bt my memory sucks

Is this an early chapter book or a picture book Victoria? And do you think it was new then or had been out a while?

Honestly I'm pretty sure that nook was already out maybe earlier the year or years ago. I know that book isn't a picture book but it could have been like a teen novel sort of book.

It's a stretch, but you might be thinking about Ordinary People. The main character's name is Conrad and there are several flashbacks to a ski trip he took with his brother when he was still alive.

I don't believe it was a rachel hawthorn novel. I remember that in the novel the girl crushing on Conrad is in the ski trip with him and they watch the constellations together. That's as far as I can think, I really wish I could be more specific thanks for the help.

Could it be The Best Girl - it's from 2007 and the love interest's name is Connor, not Conrad, but she refers to him as "Hot Connor" and has been crushing on him all semester - and it takes place at a ski resort and I think there's a scene where they look at the stars.
