Bajen I have to say both books were amazing. I watched 'the help' movie and i loved it. When I found the book after a long and hard search lol, I loved it even more!

I never knew 'the secret life of bees' was a book first. I watched the movie ages ago and liked it a lot. When I found out about the book, it was a must read. And yes I loved it. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd The Help by Kathryn Stockett

Bajen I just finished Beautiful Disaster! It's a YA novel, never wanted to read those but this was fun. Beautiful Disaster (Beautiful, #1) by Jamie McGuire

Bajen I read another YA! I am addicted to them right now. They are easy reads with a good story, so I am hooked. Beastly was very good, I saw the movie but of course its almost nothing like the book. They are both good in their own ways. Beastly (Kendra Chronicles #1) by Alex Flinn

Bajen I jjust finished 'Easy'. It was very touching, the storyline was true and current and as usual I couldn't put this one down.
Easy by Tammara Webber

Bajen Yet again, another YA! I just discovered this genre so i am just just looking at covers and loving them plus the summaries of course. This one though I did not like until i got close to the end and that was when I just could not put it down. Overall, its not a bad book at all.
Flat-Out Love by Jessica Park

Bajen Gone Girl, if you've heard about it and haven't read this yet, run out now and get it. You will wonder what the fuss is about at the beginning, that much I will be honest about. But when you get to that halfway mark of the book,it is a page turner. I loved it and would definitely recommend it.
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Bajen Summerland Now this is one of the best books I have read. I could not put it down. It is a real story, with real, everyday people and the ups and downs of life as it is. It is sincere, and beautiful. I highly recommend this book.
Summerland by Elin Hilderbrand

Bajen At Last, a romantic choice. I enjoyed it and also found out its part of a series and this book is actually book five. There are in no particular order so I can just get on with the others no problem. Romantic books are not my all time favorite, but I can handle them once in awhile.
At Last (Lucky Harbor, #5) by Jill Shalvis

message 10: by Bajen (last edited Oct 22, 2012 06:25AM) (new)

Bajen Forever and a Day another romantic. This is part of the lucky harbor series, of which the previous book is also a part. Another romantic and I really enjoyed this one, funny and romantic.
Forever and a Day (Lucky Harbor, #6) by Jill Shalvis

Bajen The Light Between Oceans a beautiful book, a must read! That is all I am saying. Go grab this book and read it now!
The Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman

Bajen Savages was a very different read. I could say weird. the wordings, the expressions and characters were all different. As the title depicts, they were really savages. It is not quite different from the movie, both are just as disturbing in my opinion. I enjoyed it though in the weird, disturbing way that the book just is.
Savages by Don Winslow

Bajen Simply Irresistible romantic, funny, this series is hilarious. I love the humor it comes with. It was a good read.
Simply Irresistible (Lucky Harbor, #1) by Jill Shalvis

Bajen The Sweetest Thing One of my favorites in the Lucky Harbor series. The Sweetest Thing (Lucky Harbor, #2) by Jill Shalvis

message 15: by Bajen (new)

Bajen So i have read all but one of the books in the Lucky HArbor series. The last one will take a little while to finish. These books are romantic and what I love most is the humor they contain. Head Over Heels (Lucky Harbor, #3) by Jill Shalvis

Bajen I am still so excited about this book. The twist and the turns will keep you guessing and then it becomes an outright serious laugh, maybe even funny laugh if you can afford one in all the confusion or something like like that. A well told story that keeps you turning that page non stop to the the end.
The Racketeer by John Grisham

Bajen Oh I am kinda disappointed with this one.it was not enough for me and I found the story going around and around in circles.
Bared to You (Crossfire, #1) by Sylvia Day

Bajen The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling
like it is said about the book, a big book about a small town. It is the truth about how we live the real life. the raw honesty of this book is mind blowing.

message 19: by Bajen (new)

Bajen The Runaway Jury by John Grisham
So it took me a whole month to finish this one. I was excited when I started reading and then it just got boring for me at least. But i did finish and I am glad I read it just to satisfy my curiosity.

message 20: by Bajen (new)

Bajen The Godfather by Mario Puzo
I just wanted to say how proud I am of myself for reading this much this year. Now the book was classic, the story so believable and real and engaging. I truly enjoyed it and looking into reading other sequels of it.

Bajen The Marriage Mistake (Marriage to a Billionare, #3) by Jennifer Probst
It was a good read and I would love to read the two previous parts.

message 22: by Bajen (new)

Bajen Where We Belong by Emily Giffin
So this is my first book in 2013 and I really enjoyed it. It made me laugh, smile and even shed a few tears. As I do not usually give reviews here, just my thoughts a few of them, this is all for now until the next book:)

message 23: by Bajen (new)

Bajen Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks
Second book in 2013 and I enjoyed it. It was not a book that got me goosebumps and tingles(I still can't get a book like that) but I enjoyed reading it and I finished it. that is a good thing, because I am not finishing a lot of books this year.

message 24: by Bajen (new)

Bajen A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin
5 stars for this one. I loved it and can't wait to get through the other books.

message 29: by Kelani (new)

Kelani | 205 comments Nope. None yet.

message 30: by Bajen (new)

Bajen The Associate by John Grisham
This book did not do much for me. I was expecting so much more at the end but it came out flat. No vo-va boom, surprising revelation of any kind. To say the least I was disappointed. I will not be reading any more Grisham for now lol.

message 31: by Bajen (new)

Bajen A Little Holiday Temptation by Janice Sims
I was looking for a quick read and romantic to take a break from the serious ones I am reading and this one fit in perfectly. 4 stars from me.

Bajen Queen of Babble (Queen of Babble, #1) by Meg Cabot
So this was my first Meg Cabot book and OMG...I loved it! It was funny and romantic, the story was so well done. It was soooo good. I will look into more of her books and see if they follow in the footsteps of this one here:)
