Tiffany | 125 comments Man, we have so many folders, I tend to forget which ones exist.

From this thread and this thread, can not NABing books by GR authors please be added to the librarian manual?

(Yes, I know, probably every one has already seen the other threads, but I'm posting it here because Krystal109's post in the second thread reminded me that we have a folder specifically for these types of requests.)

It is usual when starting such threads to suggest proposed text.

Krystal109 | 1086 comments Yea take the current text on NABing and edit it to what you think needs to be added. As people make suggestions we can edit your post to reflect those suggestions until we have a good new (more descriptive) entry.

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments This text is already part of the manual:

In the case of items currently credited to an author who is a member of the Goodreads Author program, proceed extremely carefully and contact the author for clarification if there is any question regarding the status of an item as a book, particularly in the case of calendars, workbooks, or blank books with additional content.

*smacks head* Thanks, Cait. If that's been there for a while, I must just be used to going from the first two paragraphs that describe what "Not a Book" is straight to the list of what is or is not a book.

I'm going back to hide in my corner again.
