If I finish early this afternoon I may start tonight

I was able to start this last night. I've actually read (many, many years ago)this so hopefully should be a quick reread. I can't remember everything that happened. But do remember loving the main characters!!

I woke up early and started this as well. I posted something on this thread and GR made it disappear. I remember having conflicted feelings about Lily and Ryland. But I read it after reading others in the series first, so I was coming at it from a different perspective. I haven't read this series in probably 3 years. I'm excited to start reading it in order.
I'm on page 50 now. Ryland is hot and Lily is cool. Interesting mix!!

I just finished chapter 5. I have a thing for dream sequences!! I'm actually liking it better this time around than I remember from before.

I'm up to chapter 13. She's met all of the team and they recently saved Jeff. Driving me nuts because I can't remember the twist at the end. Pretty sure there is one. Don't think I ever finished this series now I want to read it all. Add another series to the pile.

I'm on page 270. I think my reading maturity level has increased or something because I'm really liking this book. I remember thinking it was okay before - but I had not read alot of complicated world building books at that point. If I can follow Lords of Deliverance - I can follow anything LOL!!

I'm planning on re-reading this series in order, so if you want to join me, just let me know. I don't have a time frame or anything in mind yet.

I love the introduction of the team members. Kaden and Gator are two of my favorites and Nico is just scary. I like how she does the action sequences with the Ghostwalkers.

If I remember correctly this was one of the first of these types of paranormal books that I read. May have read a few before but not many. Found myslef to be intrigued with these and then I read her Carpathian books also. I don't think I finished the Carpathian series either,lol. I tend to skip around with what I want to read - very distractable☺

Doing a reread buddy read of the series would be great and it doesn't matter whether we do it every month or not.

Same for me - I'm also re-reading the Carpathian books in order. I have several series I am doing this with. It's my own little challenge. When I first started reading PNR, I almost exclusively read historical romance with a little romantic suspense thrown in. I think I had to build up my tolerance level for it!
I finished! I look forward to hearing your comments. I gave it 5 stars. Having read alot of Christine Feehan now, I think this is actually one of her best. There is less of some of her more annoying habits. Lily and Ryland are such an interesting couple and the whole book kept my interest all the way through. I loved it!
Off to the doctor!

Finished it ~ hmmm there was no twist it must be one further in the series or another series all together. Loved it, I really liked the chemistry between Ryland and Lily. It was just as good the second time around. All the guys on the ghost walker team are very interesting. Can't remember if I made it to Nicolas' book when I first read these. I think the second book is about one of the girls from the tapes? Maybe we could read the second one next month during a breather from the next in the G of T series.
Hope all went well at the doctor and it was just a check up!

Too funny ~ just went to put book two in my TBR pile and who is it about but Nicolas. Lol, I did read his book,heehee.

I think I know what twist you talking about and it comes later. It's one of the things that confused me so much because I originally read these completely out of order.

I also downloaded a sample of the next one in the series so we can definitely read it next month. I know I read the next one, but I don't think it's one I read more than once. There are a few that I've read 2 or 3 times.

I thought Arly and Rosa were a little weird. Not sure why that had to be thrown in at the end. I forget what happens to them. Also, I like the fact that Lily is gimpy and has a "womanly" figure and Ryland is not the tall, classically gorgeous guy that's normally in a book. I also appreciated her description of all the brain stuff more this time around. Lily is a really great, smart character.
Thanks for asking about the doctor. Unfortunately it is not just a checkup. I have uncontrolled HBP at the moment and am basically couch ridden. It's such a pain!! I was really happy with this new doctor however.

I'm really excited about reading this series again in order! Glad to have a buddy for the next one!!

Yep - I thought Arly and Rosa were strange also. The twist I thought involved John but guess I was wrong...

I too like when the main characters who fall in love are just normal folk who aren't perfect as well but they are "beautiful" to each other.

Sorry to here about the HBP - are they going to start you on a new blood pressure medication? Glad to hear you like the doctor though - it's always important to have someone that you are comfortable with. On a differnet note ~ if you're couch ridden just think of all the books you can read since "honey the doctor says I can't do any of that housework" isn't just a line for right now ~ I'm really only kidding since not many women like to be told they can't do what they regularly do and I know it is frustrating.

I'll put the second one on hold through my library. I'm looking forward to finding out what happens "again" with Nicolas.

And the next one is in New Orleans! I don't remember that. I'll try not to be too crazy about it.

I misspoke when I said at the moment. I'm trying to be positive. It's actually been going on for about a year and I'm on 5 medications. My new doctor just changed a bunch of them so I'm dealing with all sorts of new symptoms. Thank God for football!!

Just let me know when the book comes in from the library and I will be ready to read it. Nico is such a different type character. I'm excited!
