HELP! 80s/90s: Woman gets transported in vortex to different world

It's not a book by OCTAVIA E BUTLER, but it sounds like it could be, or was influenced by her work...
(1) Written in the 80s or 90s
(2) Author is a woman
(3) Title, author name, character name, or planet name may be something like Kyrin, Karin, Kirin - but this could be a red herring - not intentional - for some reason this word sticks in my mind, but I am beginning to think that this isn't right.
(4) Book is not part of a series. I am pretty sure it is a stand alone book with no sequel.
(5) The opening of the book is set in "modern" times - i.e. late 20th century.
(6) The main character is a 20 or 30 something year old woman. I recall that the book opens with her going for a morning or evening jog. As she is jogging she sees a tornado/vortex in front of her. She is caught in it and finds herself on another world/planet. I think she awakes to find herself in a horse barn/paddock with several other 'captives'. (view spoiler)[These captives are being herded. Her running ability makes her agile and they can't capture her. Somehow she becomes a pseudo-servant on this planet (I think). There is an overseer or manor house and a romance between the main character and the oversee or the lord of the manor house. (Although this isn't a sci-fi bodice ripper). There is also a scene where she is in a bathing pool/hot spring/sauna with other people who live on the manor. Another woman in the hot bath sees the main character's c-section scar and reaches out and touches it. A spark leaps between the two women and the other woman is able to get pregnant. (I have a vague recollection of there being a problem getting pregnant on the planet). In a scene near the end of the book, the main character finds herself back on a starship manned by a "higher" female species. They inform her that she was captured illegally. But because of the laws of 'space travel' so much time has elapsed on earth and if they sent her back, it would be thousands of years in the future. Her children and husband would be long gone. (7) I've already "ruled out" some books: Yargo, Restoree, Gor series, and Changewind series (by Chalker). I also don't think it is a book by Catherine Asaro.
Any help is appreciated. I welcome suggestions!
