Sue (suefloyd) | 2 comments I just finished Allen Steele's "Coyote" series and have also read Larry Niven's "Legacy of the Heorot" & Beowulf's Children". Does anyone have suggestions for more colonization books or series? I'm not so much interested in books about a station on one of this solar system planets but man going to other stars and settling there on earthlike planets. I'd love to find another series like the "Coyote" books.

Robin J | 1 comments I'm a fan of Sheri S. Tepper, although her narrative emphasis is more on the socio-political than on hard science. You might like "Grass" or "Six Moon Dance", and many of her other titles are also colonization tales.

David (Alienmatters) | 1 comments Webers Off Armageddon's Reef series is fantastic. I think the series is called the Safehold series. Off Armageddon's Reef is just the first novel. Great steak of a novel as opposed to a snack.

Steve Everett It's a bit dated but Nivens , 'Children of the State' series is good such as 'Integral Trees'. 'Destinies Children' is about a decade old but good, or 'Building Harlequins Moon' which he assisted Brenda Cooper on is also very good
