The Dog training Mary Ray was already disambig'd to Mary**Ray. I also disambiguated out the other non-historical fiction works.

We don't use that anymore. For a couple years now.

It isn't pinned or stickied, and has not been for some time. It is in a folder that doesn't get new threads, though.

I don't want to delete it, but if it's confusing as-is, I am open to suggestions that would make it less so.

Fixed. Chris, you can claim your author profile here: http://www.goodreads.com/author/confi...
(FYI, best to start a new thread for a new issue.)

I believe moderators have the ability to edit certain aspects of topics, such as the subject line? (I think I've seen that happen in other groups.) If that is correct, maybe you could add something in front like "[Mod Note: List No Longer Used]" or "[Mod Note: List Out of Date/No Longer Used]" so that the whole subject line would be:
"[Mod Note: List No Longer Used] Master List of Author Disambiguation by Spaces"
Also, perhaps the 20 messages at the bottom of that topic that say "This space intentionally left blank" could be deleted (I think mods can do that too?). Then a short message added explaining the status of the list--why it's not used, or what current procedures are (perhaps linking to the Librarian Manual or an instruction thread that already exists that explains). If this message is added, then the note on the subject line could be "[Mod Note: List No Longer Used, See Last Message]."
Done. Well, every librarian who follows the group will wonder why I'm suddenly updating that thread. Unless they read this one too, I guess!
