Bodice Ripper Readers Anonymous discussion

I'm new to the whole BR thing and there is a Church Sale and a Library Sale this weekend. What authors/titles should I look for? Sorry for the short notice. :)

Other romances..dont read much of the "newer" ones so cant help you there. If it was me (cover sucker that I am) I would just grab the best looking covers..read the back later:D Have fun at the sale!

It's really a matter of personal preference.

I love Bodice Rippers but I am not a fan of the 500 page epic ones where the heroine goes through multiple heroes and doesn't necessarily have a happy ending.

I am most partial to the old Marsha Canhams, Kat Martins, Jennifer Blakes, Johanna Lindsay ones. Not a fan of Bertrice Small.
