If you like humour try Shelly Laurenston's books. While there are many TYPES or shifters, they tend to all follow the same "rules". Also, she has a pen name that she writes dragon-shifter stories under--G.A. Aiken is what to look for for that series.

Again--if you like humour try Sandra Hill's time traveling Vikings (she has 2 series, one of which does NOT have time traveler's.) The Last Viking is the first story in this series. She also has one that features Cajuns and another that is treasure hunters.

Oh yeah Allison--they are GREAT--and no rapes or things--altho a few of the women in later books DO have to be rescued from evil vamps.

Erica (gypsysgem) | 19 comments I love the Argeneau series! The Sookie Stackhouse books are really good too.

Brianna | 76 comments All of Molly Harper's books are funny, although the Jane Jameson series is my favorite by her so far.

Dee (phonebooklady) I'm the Vampire, That's Why (Broken Heart Vampires, #1) by Michele Bardsley , is a funny series.

Real Vampires Live Large (Glory St. Clair, #2) by Gerry Bartlett is also good.
