I'm still making my way through some YA books. This week I'm hoping to finish reading The Book of Blood and Shadow by Robin Wasserman, Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins, and Dragonswood by Janet Lee Carey.

A few weeks ago someone mentioned that they had read a YA about a girl and a dragon? Does anyone remember who mentioned that book and what the title was? I can't find that post and I read that book. Thanks!

Sorry, Okie. I don't remember that one at all. Since you're into YA, did you know that Cynthia Eden has self-pubbed a paranormal YA? It's called...The Better to Bite. Haven't read it yet, but I thought you might go for it.

I'm reading In the Woods by Tana French right now. It's really good. Nothing like I expected it to be, really. But good.

For some reason I think it was Elyssa, I know she reads YA too. I had no idea about Cynthia Eden's YA- I'll go look for it for my nook :D Thanks, Manda!

Thanks, Elyssa. I meant to mark it down and then started doin something else and forgot. Over TG break I read Seraphina by Rachel Hartman. Girl, such a Good Read!!(this one's about dragons too) I can't wait to read book two. btw, have you been reading Rae Carson's Fire and Thorn series? I'm a huge fan of the series! I'm sad that next year will be the final book but I'm excited to see how it ends :)

I am about halfway through Reached by Ally Condie. It is really good so far. I also started Season for Surrender by Theresa Romain, which is really good so far too!

I'm reading (and as it turns out rereading) Christmas Beau by Balogh--which is well worth it. Then, the new Isabella Bradford, When the Duke found love.

Amber | 161 comments I too started Season for Surrender and A Bed of Spices. I'll have to checkout that A Christmas Bride/Christmas Beau, I love her Christmas stories more than most but I haven't heard of that one.

Yea, Elyssa, Seraphina was spendy- I bought it hardback O.o Def wait till it comes down in price. I had no idea Rae Carson had sold a new YA trilogy! I'm excited lol!

Love Moira Young's series too! I've never read anything by Laini Taylor, I'll check her out and I'll check out Sea of Tranquility too.

Well, I finished In the Woods and had a really mixed reaction to it. The couple I wanted to get together crashed and burned. So I started on the next one, The Likeness in hopes that they'd get back together and the heroine ended up getting engaged to another guy. And the next two books are about totally different people. Sigh. I hate it when that happens. It left me feeling unsatisfied.

I started Where Angels Rest last night and so far it's good. Still haunted by the Tana French books though.
