Alisa We all have them. Books we love. Books we read over and over. What is yours and why? It can be from any genre.

I've heard a lot about of positive about these books lately. I recently moved them up on my TBR list.

Blood and Starlight is my favorite for 2012. Loved it and was excited because I got to read the ARC. :) I wish we didn't have to wait so long for the next book. Did you know the screen rights were bought for the series?

Alisa For me the books I like best change over time. Right now I have two that have really made an impression on me. This first is not Uf/PNR but I just loved the story. I don't read a lot of contemporary books but this was a touching story. It's the story of a man's life as told from his dog's point of view. It's a tear jerker in some places. The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein

My favorite in the PNR/UF arena is Lover Awakened (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #3) by J.R. Ward My opinion of the BDB series has been up & down but I loved this book. Usually when you read PNR the hero is perfect. Maybe he has a tortured past but he's over come it & is doing the world good. I love how Zsadist is just a mess. How often due to see a hero dry heaving on the bathroom floor due to anxiety/fear? I thought it was a touching love story & there were some beautiful scenes.
