What do you think of the Kayrs mating brand? If you were a Kayrs mate, where would you want yours, if your man gave you the choice?

I've been thinking about this for a while, especially since Kane straight up asked Amber where she wanted it in Provoked (it was very "ow ow!"), and I think either on the back between the shoulder blades or right across the hip bone (where Moira has hers - book 3). I read this series backward. =( LOL

As weird as it sounds I like the idea of being marked palm to palm. It seems more... equal partnersy than the other places I could think of. But then I'm not a big fan of the whole Alpha male 'mine!' attitude of ownership. I so should be reading another genre. Lol

The palm to palm is kind of cool. I tho kind of like high up on hip so it just peeks out if wearing jeans. Shows that its personal but willing to let others know that you are little mysterious.

I like the idea of it. I am also a fan of art especially on the skin and if people are "fated" for each other then this is especially cool. You know going into this that this is your mate for always(usually). While rings are one thing palm to palm mating is extremely intimate and I really like that about it.

There's something similar to this in Laura Kaye's Vampire Warrior Kings novella series. The mated couple develops a matching tattoo on their hands, so that when they're clasped, it's one flowing piece of art, and each couple's tattoo is unique. Very cool idea. And it implies equality in the relationship, no matter how much bedroom dominance happens.
